Sodalite Heart Gua Sha (New Product)
Facial Gua Sha is a traditional and effective Chinese beauty technique. It involves light sweeping/scrapping techniques on the skin to help enhance and rejuvenate the face and other parts of the body. Facial Gua Sha has become a popular beautifying technique to naturally stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic drainage for tired or congested skin. It can be used for lifting and sculpting, relaxing tight muscles that contribute to fine lines (like brows furrows), for de-puffing under-eyes and cheeks. It’s also helpful for jaw tension, seasonal allergies, and sinus congestion. When performing facial gua sha, make sure you use much less pressure on the face than on the body.

When this technique is used correctly, it has amazing results. Here are some:

IMPROVES BLOOD CIRCULATION
HELPS PROMOTE COLLAGEN
ENCOURAGES MOVEMENT OF LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
RELEASES TENSION & STRESS
FIRMS UP SAGGING FACIAL MUSCLES/AGING SKIN
SOFTENS FINE LINES & WRINKLES/ CROWS FEET
IMPROVES DARK CIRCLES UNDER THE EYES & PUFFINESS
DECREASES INFLAMMATION

How to use:
FOR GLOWING RESULTS:
Start with a clean face and prep skin, apply a facial oil, oil-based cream, or serum for added slip first.
Hold cool stone tool flat to the skin under eyes to soothe and de-puff. For the under-eye area, very gently scrape the Gua Sha from the inner corner of the eye outwards to the temple. Because the area is so sensitive, it is important to only apply light pressure.
Use curved side at a 15-degree angle (more flat stone, less edge) on the face and glide it gently up and out, starting with jawline, chin, and around the mouth (3-5 strokes per area) and take short strokes in one upward direction. At the end of a stroke, wiggle the stone slightly to stimulate flow.
Work in small horizontal strokes over the brow bone and in-between brows to help lift and release tension.
Then, stroke down the right and left sides of the neck to drain.
You may see a slight flush from boosting the skin’s circulation!
As you start to familiarize yourself with it and get more comfortable with your techniques, you should aim to use gua sha at least two to three times per week.
What else do you need to know:
